Associate Senior Software Engineer (JAVA)

Technical Skills

• Java frameworks such as Spring, Microservices, Spring Boot, or Core Java.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications.
• Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code.
• Follow best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects..
• Ensure that the software architecture is scalable, reliable, and meets performance requirements.
• Conduct and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
• Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with QA teams to address and resolve issues.
• Work closely with other development teams and departments.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline the deployment process.
• Ensure that the application is deployable and maintainable.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring, Microservices, Spring Boot, or Core Java.
• Knowledge of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Database experience, often with SQL and relational databases.
• Understanding of software design principles and design patterns.
• Good communication skills (Spoken, written, Client facing for requirement gathering)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in Java programming or related technologies, such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Spring Framework Certification.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud platforms and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
